Now Batting - Doug Medrano
My name is Douglas Medrano, born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and raised in Valley Stream, N.Y. Growing up in New York throughout the late 90s, I naturally became a die-hard New York Yankees fan. Ever since then, baseball has been a focal point in my life.
I would be remiss if I didn’t thank my parents, Carmen and Lauro, and my sister, Valerie. Their unconditional love and guidance has led me to where I am today. The game of baseball has taught me various lessons in life too, especially the importance of hard work and perseverance. So much so that I was able to play the game collegiately while earning my bachelor's degree in business with a focus on management and marketing at the Pennsylvania State University at Brandywine. I'm forever indebted to the game of baseball.
Joining the Baseball Assistance Team will provide me the opportunity to give back to the game I love so much by helping fellow members of the Baseball Family. I look forward to all of the learning experiences that will come along with being part of B.A.T. and the rest of the MLB team.
