Now Batting - Jalissa Sánchez

Hello, my name is Jalissa Sánchez! I was born in Jackson Heights, N.Y., but grew up in New Hyde Park, N.Y. Being a New Yorker my whole life I am proud to say I am a New York Yankees fan, but I do have a soft spot for the New York Mets.

I attended the State University of New York College at Oneonta, where I dual-majored in criminal justice and communications. Right out of college, I started working for the National Football League headquarters in NYC. While being there, I was fortunate enough to work alongside the NFL Player Care Foundation. Being that the NFL Player Care Foundation holds similar values as the MLB Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T.), I found that the opening at B.A.T. would be a wonderful opportunity to continue my service of assisting former athletes. I am so happy to be a part of such a hard-working team that is dedicated to helping others. I can’t wait to see where my journey with B.A.T. will take me and all the memories that will be made!
