Angels prospect Matt Thaiss hit a home run straight into the center-field camera well

After a winter #NoOffseason of working out, players arrive in Spring Training hoping to show off the improvements they've made to their games to the teammates, coaches and fans who haven't seen them play in months.
Count Angels No. 5 prospect Matt Thaiss among them. The Angels' 2016 first-round pick hit .274/.375/.395 between High-A and Double-A in 2017, but only had nine home runs across 133 games. In the fourth inning of Saturday night's matchup against the Mariners, he showed that there's power in his bat with this long drive to center field -- his second dinger of the spring:

In addition to the clear power, Thaiss showed off some impressive aim on his dinger, sending it right into the center of the batters' eye camera well. Unfortunately, it was still only worth one run on the scoreboard.
