A thirsty baseball took a dip in a Mets fan's beer

It's hard work being a baseball. You get thrown at extremely high speeds, pummeled into space and occasionally, chewed on. Who would blame you if you wanted to take a break and relax with a nice, cold beverage?
That's just what this baseball did during the Mets' 3-1 victory over the Nationals on Saturday night. It saw a fan's beer and went for a swim:
