Dellin Betances' 100-mph laser beam broke Gary Sanchez's batting glove under his mitt

It boggles the mind that a human being can catch a triple-digit fastball from just 60 feet away. And yet, somehow they do it. If you want proof of just how insanely hard those baseballs are being thrown, enter Gary Sánchez.
In the top of the ninth of the Yankees' 3-2 victory over the A's, Dellin Betances tossed a 100.2-mph fastball. Though Sanchez held on, and managed not to scream in pain and writhe around on the ground, part of his batting glove that he wore under his catcher's mitt did pop off.

Yeah, that's gotta sting.
