Fans refused to leave the Tokyo Dome after Ichiro's final game

Well, it happened. After months of speculation, and 28 seasons of professional baseball both in Japan and the United States, Ichiro is retiring. He leaves us with thousands of hits, countless otherworldly moments and so many tears.

Nobody, of course, wants him to go. We want him to continue doing the amazing things he does on a baseball diamond. We want him to play forever. And after his final game in Japan on Thursday, Tokyo Dome fans were the epitome of those feelings.
