Kevin Costner is open to a 'Bull Durham' sequel with him as a manager

It's been 28 years since "Bull Durham" opened in theaters worldwide. That's nearly three decades. That's too long for a young, somewhat wild, somewhat talented, good-lord willing pitcher to not be throwing baseballs at mascots' heads:

So, how about a sequel? Well, Kevin Costner was recently a guest on The Dan Patrick Show and said he'd be open to a second installment of one of the seminal sports movies of our time:

Manager Crash Davis? Is Nuke his veteran pitcher, back in the Minors after a long stint in the big leagues? Do Annie and Crash have a kid that's a young, up-and-coming catcher also on said MiLB team? The possibilities are endless. What do you say, Ron Shelton?
