Nelson Cruz and Kyle Seager's celebratory bear hugs were enough to make anyone a Mariners fan

<> at O.co Coliseum on May 3, 2016 in Oakland, California. (Thearon W. Henderson)

There was a budding bromance in the second half of the 2017 season and we all missed it: Nelson Cruz and Kyle Seager are the bestest of friends.
While plenty of teammates celebrate after home runs -- and duos like the Bash Brothers have even earned nicknames for their unique celebrations -- no one seems to have as much joy Cruz and Seager. These are friendship four-baggers. These are homer huggers. These are bear hug bombers.
Need evidence: Are these teammates celebrating a run, or two brothers reuniting after months apart?

Seager needs plenty of core strength -- not for playing baseball, but simply to hold onto Cruz:

You've never seen true joy until you've seen Kyle Seager's face when he gets back to the dugout:

It's like something Norman Rockwell would have painted.

This could be us, but you playing:

It's no less magical in motion:

Maybe one day we'll all find friendship as strong as this. Until then, we'll just have to live vicariously through them.
