A college team tried to put the tarp on the field in a wild wind storm and the scene was incredibly chaotic
Georgia went through some rough weather this weekend, characterized with strong, unpredictable winds and a bunch of rain.
The game between the Mercer Bears and Samford Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field went into a weather delay, so that meant it was time for the tarp to be put on the field.
At least, that was what ballpark staff and some players wanted to do. The wind gave the tarp a life of its own, as it billowed and whipped around and ... well, it was a wild scene:

Adrian Garro joined MLB.com in 2016. Throughout his travels, both Bartolo Colon and Vin Scully have placed their hands on his shoulders. Not at the same time, though. That'd be amazing.
