ABOUT
The Academy Softball program offers free, competitive softball for middle and high school youth in San Francisco, with a focus on providing a safe, structured and supportive environment for every player.
The 2026 summer season runs June 8 through August 1, and includes free participation, uniforms, equipment and high-quality coaching. Players will take part in regular practices and games while building their skills and confidence. More details below.
ENROLLMENT
Participation is 100% free. The Giants Community Fund provides each player with the following in order to play ball:
- Jersey
- Pants
- Hat
- Equipment
- & more!
LEAGUE SCHEDULE

- Fall Season: September-November

SATURDAY SPEAKER SERIES
Each Saturday during the Summer and Fall seasons, various speakers will visit to provide Academy baseball and softball players insight on their career and how they got to where they are today. To learn more, click here.
