Minor League Players of the Year

Bob Feller Award

Lou Boudreau Award

The Lou Boudreau Award is given out to the top position player in the Guardians Minor League system.

At 24 years old, Boudreau was named player manager in 1942, a position he held until 1950. Boudreau guided the Indians to a World Series title in 1948 and earned the American League MVP award that same season. He ranks in the top 10 of several franchise batting records. Among one of the most beloved players in Cleveland Guardians history, he was elected to the Guardians Hall of Fame in 1954 and to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1970.
