Troy Tulowitzki homered under the watchful eye of two giraffes

Troy Tulowitzki found some unlikely fans while on the rehab trail for the Yankees. He played for the Tampa Tarpons on Tuesday night at George M. Steinbrenner Field and found himself in front of two stuffed giraffes -- Gilbert and Gwyneth -- watching dutifully from the front row.

Were these giraffes actually scouts in disguise, or just huge Tarpons supporters? Either way, they looked to be extremely focused on Tulowitzki's success. Faced with this intense pressure, Tulowitzki rose to the challenge in his first at-bat with a two-run blast.

The animal kingdom is proud of you, Tulo. So is Geoffrey.

Hat tip to Max Wildstein.
