Brett Gardner lost a battle with his helmet as it hit him in the face
Newton's third law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. In other words, forces always come in pairs.
On Saturday, Brett Gardner experienced a lesson in Newton's third law when, after a frustrating at-bat, he threw his helmet against the wall of the Yankee's dugout ... and his helmet came back and hit him square in the face.
