Jan. 15, 2026 – The results of the 2026 Baseball Writers’ Association of America’s National Baseball Hall of Fame election will be exclusively announced on MLB Network on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. ET. Tuesday’s nine hours of coverage will begin with The Leadoff Spot at 9 a.m. ET, followed by Hot Stove at 10 a.m. ET, MLB Now from Cooperstown at 2 p.m. ET and a three-hour 2026 Hall of Fame Election Announcement program at 4 p.m. ET, including Baseball Hall of Fame President Josh Rawitch revealing the results live from the Hall of Fame Plaque Gallery. Anchored by Greg Amsinger and Brian Kenny, MLB Network’s extensive Hall of Fame election coverage will include analysis from 2018 Ford C. Frick Award winner Bob Costas, Emmy Award-winning analyst Harold Reynolds, MLB Network insiders and Hall of Fame voters Jon Morosi, Joel Sherman, Tom Verducci and 2019 BBWAA Career Excellence Award winner Jayson Stark.
As the exclusive home of the Hall of Fame election announcement since 2009, MLB Network’s Hall of Fame coverage, which is available Direct-To-Consumer will include an exclusive interview with fourth-year eligible candidate Carlos Beltrán sitting down with his former New York Mets teammate and MLB Network analyst Cliff Floyd for a discussion on his decorated 20-year career. The coverage will also include a sit-down interview with electee Jeff Kent, examining and discussing his 17-year career and his successful first attempt on the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee ballot with Tom Verducci. A recent conversation with MLB Network’s Mark DeRosa and Andruw Jones will also be featured as Jones appears for the ninth time on the Hall of Fame ballot.
Following the Hall of Fame election announcement program, which will simulcast on MLB.com, MLB.TV and in the MLB app, MLB Network’s Emmy Award-winning MLB Tonight will continue the election results coverage at 7 p.m. ET with host Adnan Virk, analyst Cliff Floyd and insider Joel Sherman. For the sixth consecutive year, MLB Now hosted by Brian Kenny will also broadcast live from Cooperstown on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. ET with Morosi and Stark all contributing and on Thursday, Jan. 22 for the Hall of Fame press conference. Hot Stove co-hosted by Matt Vasgersian, Harold Reynolds and Lauren Shehadi will also cover election day at 10 a.m. ET daily next week, with Kenny, Morosi and Stark, contributing from Cooperstown.
To close out the week, MLB Network will welcome the newly elected Hall of Famers to its studios for comprehensive MLB Tonight coverage at 5 p.m. ET on Friday, Jan. 23. Exclusive interviews and on-field demonstrations in Studio 42 will be featured across the program. MLB Network will exclusively air the 2026 National Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Sunday, July 26.
