Alex Dickerson extended his hitting streak to 19 straight games for Triple-A El Paso Saturday night, while center fielder Michael Gettys had a perfect night at the plate to lead Class A Fort Wayne to a Midwest League victory.
Dickerson (.409) was 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in the Chihuahuas' 13-11 loss to Round Rock at Southwest University Park in El Paso.
Despite the loss, the 22-19 Chihuahuas continued their offensive assault with 15 hits. They have yet to have fewer than nine hits in any game in May and lead the Pacific Coast League with .321 team batting average.
Shortstop Nick Noonan (.319) was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run scored and hit a double in his seventh straight game. Second baseman Carlos Asuaje (.324) was 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI.
Right fielder Hunter Renfroe (.319) was 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. James Loney (.336) was 2-for-5 with an RBI and run scored. Infielder Ryan Schimpf (.315) was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. And third baseman Casey McElroy (.397) had a double in three at-bats with two runs scored.
Outfielder Jabari Blash left the game during his first at-bat when he apparently hurt his knee while swinging.
El Paso starting pitcher Jeremy Guthrie (7.50 earned run average) allowed seven runs on 10 hits with five strikeouts in six innings. Right-hander Derek Eitel (3.93) allowed two runs on two hits and two walks with two strikeouts in two-thirds of an inning.
Right-hander Adam Cimber allowed three runs on four hits with a strikeout in two-thirds of an inning in his Triple-A debut to sustain the loss. Left-hander Daniel Moskos (2.37 ERA) retired both hitters he faced. Right-hander Tayron Guerrero (3.27 ERA) allowed an unearned run on a hit in the ninth.
Gettys, 20, the Padres' second-round pick in the 2014 Draft, was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and his 17th stolen base in 22-20 Fort Wayne's 7-3 win over West Michigan at Parkview Field in Fort Wayne.
Third baseman Carlos Belen (.211) was 2-for-4 with a three-run homer. Second baseman Peter Van Gansen (.252) was 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored. Shortstop Ruddy Giron (.188) was 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Left-handed starter Thomas Dorminy (3.00 ERA) allowed two runs on six hits with three strikeouts in six innings. Right-hander Phil Monroe (2-1, 3.92) gave up a run on three hits with a strikeout in two innings. Right-hander Phil Maton (2.57) allowed a hit with a strikeout in a scoreless ninth.
Infielder-outfielder Jose Pirela rejoined El Paso Saturday via an option from the Padres. Right-handed pitcher Seth Rosin was placed on the Chihuahuas' seven-day disabled list and, Cimber was promoted from Double-A San Antonio.

LF Nick Torres (.273) was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. RF Yeison Asencio (.266) was 2-for-4. 2B Nelson Ward (.230) was 2-for-5 with his 14th steal and a run scored. Starting RHP Bryce Morrow (0-6, 7.31ERA) allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings. LHP Brandon Alger (9.50) allowed a hit with two strikeouts in two scoreless innings. LHP Ramon Benjamin (7.85) pitched a perfect inning.
CLASS A ADVANCED LAKE ELSINORE (19-24) -- Bakersfield 7, STORM 3: DH Josh Van Meter (.274) hit a two-run homer in five at-bats. C Jose Ruiz (.224) was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. LF Edwin Moreno (.232) was 2-for-4 with a double. RHP Walker Lockett took the loss in his Storm debut, allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings. RHP Martires Arias (4.88) worked 1 2/3 perfect innings. LHP Matt Thornton made his rehab debut and allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk with a strikeout in an inning. LHP Taylor Seidenberger (7.36) allowed a hit in a scoreless inning.
