Fasano will be joined by Buddy Carlyle (pitching coach), Ryan Barba (hitting coach), Matt Morrell (trainer) and Adam Auer (strength and conditioning).
Manager Keith Johnson returns for his second season with Triple-A Salt Lake after a previous stint as the Bees' manager from 2011-14. Johnson will work alongside pitching coach Erik Bennett, trainer Brian Reinker and strength and conditioning coach Andrew Chappell for a second consecutive year. Lou Marson, a catcher for 10 years with the Indians and Phillies, will take over for Tom Tornincasa as the team's hitting coach.
Chad Tracy will helm Class A Advanced Inland Empire for a second season, joined by Michael Wuertz (pitching) and newcomers Brian Betancourth (hitting), Yusuke Takahashi (trainer) and Daniel Escobar (strength and conditioning). For Class A Burlington, returning manager Adam Melhuse, pitching coach Jairo Cuevas, trainer Richard Gill and strength and conditioning coach Adam Smith will be joined by new hitting coach Travis Adair.
The defending Pioneer League champion Orem Owlz will have a new manager, as Tom Nieto takes over for Dave Stapleton. Nieto will have Michael Burns and Jonathan Van Eaton as his pitching coaches in 2017, along with hitting coaches Manny Del Campo and Matt Spring.
Stapleton will manage Rookie League Tempe with coaches Ray Olmedo, Jordan Osegura, Nick Parent and John Slusarz, alongside trainer Chris Wells and strength and conditioning coach Sergio Rojas. Hector De La Cruz will manage the Angels' club in the Dominican Summer League.
