Jordan Kipper made some history Tuesday night, tossing a no-hitter in Double-A Arkansas' 6-0 win over Northwest Arkansas.
Kipper, whom the Angels drafted in the ninth round of the 2014 Draft, walked one and struck out eight, a season-high, in his first career complete game.

Kipper issued a walk to Ramon Torres to open the first frame and then retired the next 26 batters. He induced a double play to end the first inning.
"You saw a guy who pounded the bottom of the zone," Travelers' hitting coach Brent Del Chiaro said. "He commanded all three of his pitches tonight and looked comfortable from the very first pitch."
The outing was obviously Kipper's best start of the season, but it wasn't the first time he's shown an ability to carve up a lineup.
On April 26, Kipper gave up just two hits in eight scoreless innings.
The 23-year old right-hander is now 3-2 with a 3.78 ERA in his first season at the Double-A level.
