ANGELS HOST PADRES AND BLUE JAYS IN SIX-GAME HOMESTAND
The Angels host their second homestand of the year from April 17 – April 22. The homestand will begin with a three-game series against the Padres and conclude with a three-game set against the Blue Jays. Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium over the next homestand.
STAR WARS WEEKEND
- On Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18, the Angels will host Star Wars Weekend at Angel Stadium. Prior to the games, fans can visit the Gate 1 Rose Garden for pregame festivities featuring Star Wars characters, trivia, and more. Additionally, a variety of characters will be featured in entertainment throughout the weekend, bringing The Force to The Big A.
- GIVEAWAY: Upon entrance to the game on Friday, April 17, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a The Mandalorian & Grogu Angels jersey.
- FIREWORKS: Fans in attendance of the Saturday night game on April 18 will be treated to a postgame firework show driven by your SoCal Hyundai Dealers.
ANGEL STADIUM 60TH ANNIVERSARY
- On Sunday, April 19, there will be a pregame video commemorating Angel Stadium’s 60th The Angels will also wear commemorative hat patches beginning on Sunday through the end of the homestand.
IN THE COMMUNITY
- On Monday, April 20, Ryan Zeferjahn will visit students at Carver Elementary School in Anaheim as part of the Angels Adopt-A-School program.
- On Tuesday, April 21, Sam Bachman and Bryce Teodosio will visit El Morro Elementary and Top of the World Elementary.
LITTLE LEAGUE SUNDAY
- Prior to the game on Sunday, April 19, there will be a Little League parade along the outfield warning track for local players from around Southern California.
