Angels Minor Leaguer Lamb suspended

Major League Baseball suspended Angels Minor League left-hander for 50 games on Tuesday following a second positive test for a drug of abuse in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
Once a top prospect with the Royals, Lamb was one of three players, along with and , who were traded to the Reds for in 2015. Lamb was ranked as the No. 34 overall prospect by MLBPipeline.com in 2011.
Lamb was yet to pitch for Triple-A Salt Lake this season, but he did make 14 starts with the Reds last year, going 1-7 with a 6.43 ERA.
