White Sox: Colson Montgomery, SS (MLB No. 17), Glendale Desert Dogs
For the first time since high school, Montgomery produced a two-homer game, and it was his first time homering in consecutive contests as a professional. The Fall League's top prospect stayed patient and fouled off pitches to get what he was looking for, resulting in a pair of no-doubters that accounted for four RBIs. Montgomery finished his day with a single in the ninth and scored three runs. More »

Giants: Reggie Crawford, DH (No. 8), Scottsdale Scorpions
Crawford got his steps in as he recorded two extra-base hits for the first time in his young career, including his first inside-the-park home run. In the process, the 22-year-old racked up a career-high four RBIs as the Scorpions DH. Splitting his time between Single-A San Jose and High-A Eugene, the two-way player slugged .529 while pitching to a 2.84 ERA in 13 starts. More »

Reds: Carson Spiers, RHP (Unranked), Surprise Saguaros
Spiers put together a bounce-back performance against Mesa on Friday after a middling Fall League debut. After giving up 3 runs and striking out two in his first start, the 25-year-old allowed one hit and walk over four scoreless innings, striking out five. The performance helped Spiers pick up his second straight win and lowered his ERA to 1.29.

Rockies: Sterlin Thompson, OF (No. 6), Salt River Rafters
Case Williams, RHP (Unranked), Salt River Rafters
Thompson has been a force at the dish for the Rafters, tallying a knock in all eight of his games, including a pair on Friday. After drawing a walk in the first inning, the 22-year-old extended his streak with a single in the second. In the fourth, Thompson cracked a line-drive double to right to bring home two runs. He walked a second time later in the game and ended the day with a .500/.622/.750 slash line in the Fall League play. He leads the circuit in OBP.

Coming off a Double-A season where he struggled to a 7.08 ERA, everything has started to click for Williams this fall. The 6-foot-3 right-hander dominated Mesa in his first start, allowing one hit in three scoreless frames. For his encore on Friday, he posted an almost identical line, yielding one hit and striking out four across three more scoreless innings. More »

Guardians: Christian Cairo, OF (Unranked), Peoria Javelinas
In a game that featured 18 runs, Cairo was the lone batter to go deep. The Guardians prospect and son of former big leaguer Miguel Cairo went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and scored twice. The homer, which was the first of the fall for the 22-year-old, sailed 421 ft. to center -- just left of the batter’s eye -- and left Cairo’s bat at 101.4 mph. His three knocks mark the second consecutive multihit game for Cairo, who is slashing .353/.421/.529 in for Peoria.

Blue Jays: Damiano Palmegiani, 3B (No. 18), Surprise Saguaros
Palmegiani continued to scald the ball for the Saguaros, homering, walking and driving in a pair of runs. The 23-year-old improved his slash line to .321/.447/.607 with four extra-base hits -- two homers -- and six RBIs in 28 at-bats over eight games. Palmegiani posted an .842 OPS and drove in a career-high 93 runs with Double-A New Hampshire and Triple-A Buffalo this season. More »

Phillies: Oliver Dunn, 3B (Unranked), Scottsdale Scorpions
Dunn continued his hot streak on Friday, collecting three hits and an RBI for Scottsdale. The infielder didn't limit his solid play to the batter's box either, swiping a pair of bases as well. With nine hits in five games, Dunn is batting .450, the fourth-best mark in the Fall League. The 26-year-old set numerous career highs offensively for Double-A Reading in 2023, hitting 21 homers, driving in 78 runs and posting a .902 OPS to earn a spot on the Eastern League's postseason All-Star squad.
