BALTIMORE -- Thursday's Orioles-Astros game, the first of a four-game series, was postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Saturday.
The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 4:05 p.m. ET, followed by the regularly scheduled game approximately 30 minutes after Game 1 is over.
David Hess was slated to start on Thursday, and he'll move back a day to take the hill on Friday. Dylan Bundy will lead the Orioles in Game 1 of the twin bill, with Yefry Ramirez to follow. Sunday's starter remains TBD.
The O's have been scrambling to fill innings as the season ends, with both Andrew Cashner and Alex Cobb done for the year.
Fans holding tickets for the originally scheduled 7:05 p.m. game on Saturday should use those tickets for both games of the doubleheader. The first 35,000 fans 15 and over attending Saturday's games will receive an Orioles Puffy Vest.
Tickets and parking vouchers for Thursday's postponed game will not automatically be honored for the doubleheader. Fans can exchange the value of their tickets and parking from the postponed game at the Oriole Park Box Office toward any of the four remaining home games, including the doubleheader, based on availability. In addition, the value of any valid paid tickets for Thursday's game can be applied toward an exchange for any April or May 2019 home game, excluding Opening Day and subject to availability. Exchanges for 2019 will only be available once single-game tickets go on sale at the Oriole Park Box Office. (Timing will be announced at a later date.)
All ballpark gates will open at 3 p.m., and parking lots will open at 2:30 p.m. Both games will be free on MLB.TV, and broadcast on MASN and on the Orioles Radio Network, including flagship station 105.7 The Fan.
