BRADENTON, Fla. -- The Blue Jays' future left side of the infield was on display on a chilly Thursday night at LECOM Park in a 5-4 split-squad win over the Pirates.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the No. 3 prospect in baseball and son of Class of 2018 Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero Sr., went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Guerrero hit a double to the gap in left-center off Pirates starter Chad Kuhl in the second inning and a single to third off Pirates closer Felipe Rivero in the seventh inning. He also drove in a run on a groundout in the fourth.

Guerrero is hitting .667 (6-for-9) in his first two spring starts.

Blue Jays No. 2 prospect Bo Bichette, who started at shortstop on Thursday, hit a two-run homer in the top of the seventh off Rivero that gave Toronto the lead. Bichette showed opposite-field power reminiscent of his father, Dante Bichette, who hit 274 home runs in his 14-year MLB career.
Bichette is hitting .429 this spring.

"They've got a ton of talent," manager John Gibbons said. "You bring them over to a big league game when they're that young and you never know what to expect.
"Whether it's the first time in Sarasota or tonight, they just keep producing. It's fun to watch."
Bichette told Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun that he will be with the Blue Jays for two exhibition games next week in Montreal. Guerrero is likely to make the trip as well.
• Right-hander Joe Biagini gave up three runs on four hits in 4 1/3 innings. He walked three, struck out two and had two wild pitches.
Biagini's spring ERA is 6.50. He is expected to open the season in Triple-A Buffalo.
