SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Brandon Drury continued his torrid hitting, doubling twice and driving in a run during a three-run second inning Saturday to help the Arizona Diamondbacks subdue a split squad of San Francisco Giants, 9-5.
Drury, a rookie third baseman, is batting .571 (8-for-14) in his last five games.
The D-backs collected four consecutive hits in the second inning off Giants starter Ty Blach, who yielded five runs and six hits in three innings. Welington Castillo doubled, Rickie Weeks singled, Drury smacked an RBI double and Peter O'Brien hit a run-scoring single. Gabriel Guerrero's double-play grounder delivered the inning's final run.

Angel Pagan doubled and scored on Jarrett Parker's single in the Giants' half of the second before Socrates Brito socked a two-run homer in the third inning to extend Arizona's lead. Parker crushed a solo homer in the ninth.
D-backs starter Archie Bradley improved his Cactus League record to 2-0 while allowing one run and three hits in three innings.
"I'm impressed with the way I'm throwing the ball and how I'm competing right now," Bradley said.
After Bradley departed, the Giants scored in the fourth inning on back-to-back doubles by Andrew Susac and Kelby Tomlinson, and again in the fifth as Joe Panik tripled and Matt Duffy singled. Arizona padded its lead in the sixth as Weeks was hit by a pitch, went to third on Drury's double and scored on Guerrero's groundout.
Susac added an RBI single for the Giants in the seventh.
Giants closer Santiago Casilla, who had been sidelined by the flu, made his first spring appearance, working a scoreless fourth inning.
"It's good to get him out there," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. "He's ready."
