Braves 2B day to day; Snitker expects him to play Friday

LOS ANGELES -- Braves second baseman exited Thursday night's 6-3 win over the Dodgers, with right hamstring tightness after the top of the sixth inning. He is day to day.
Manager Brian Snitker said he was unsure when Phillips suffered the injury, but said Phillips notified the training staff. Snitker said there's "no reason" Phillips wouldn't play Friday, assuming his hamstring doesn't tighten up during pregame workouts.
"His hamstring was tight," Snitker said. "He just kept getting it stretched, and we just thought it was better than pushing it and be better safe than sorry."
Phillips went 1-for-3 with a leadoff triple in the third. moved from shortstop to second base to replace Phillips to start the bottom of the sixth, and Dansby Swanson entered to play shortstop.
