LIVE on Tubi: Brazil, Great Britain both seeking first wins at '26 Classic

4:51 PM UTC

HOUSTON -- Both Great Britain and Brazil are hungry for a win at this year's World Baseball Classic. Only one of them will get it.

The two teams are both winless in Pool B, and this is their final game. They'll be pulling out all the stops to get that first win. The stakes are high for each country.

Brazil has never won a game at the World Baseball Classic across two appearances in 2013 and 2026. A win here would be the biggest in the country's baseball history.

"Tomorrow is the most important game for us," said Brazil manager Daniel Yuichi Matsumoto. "It's going to be everything on the table for the game."

Great Britain is hoping for continued growth after making its Classic debut in 2023, when it went 1-3 with a win over Colombia. Getting one more victory in 2026 would help the team keep the momentum of British baseball going.

"It's everything," GB manager Brad Marcelino said of winning the final game. "So everyone is all onboard, all hands on deck. It's definitely a must-win.

"And it is up to the boys, right? They know what they need to do. Nothing to be said besides: Go and win a ballgame."
