Bob Uecker has been and will continue to be on the hearts and minds of the Brewers and their fans throughout the 2026 postseason.

He will also be on the backs of those in Milwaukee’s radio broadcast booth for World Series Game 1 tonight against the Rays at American Family Field.

Brewers play-by-play announcer Jeff Levering sported one of Uecker’s signature jackets during Friday’s episode of MLB Central, and he said that he and three others in the booth will be wearing jackets that once belonged to Uecker, who was on the mic for Brewers baseball for more than five decades before he passed away in 2025 at age 90.

“You can’t go two steps without thinking about Ueck in this city,” Levering said while wearing a jacket that Uecker wore during his numerous guest appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

“He is every bit of Milwaukee Brewers baseball.”

Levering paid homage to Uecker earlier this postseason with his now-famous call when Milwaukee clinched its first pennant in 44 years last week. And if the Brewers are able to win their first championship in franchise history, expect to see many more tributes to their legendary voice, who may be gone but will never be forgotten.
