PHILADELPHIA – Another day, another Phillies player leaving a game early.

On Sunday, it was 's turn, as the second baseman was replaced in the top of the eighth due to a right foot contusion. Stott suffered the injury when he fouled a ball off his foot in the sixth inning, but he stayed in the game through the seventh before being lifted.

Luis Arraez, who left Saturday’s game with cramping in his hamstring, replaced Stott in the eighth. Arraez was not in the starting lineup on Sunday, but interim manager Don Mattingly said before the game that this had been an ongoing issue for Arraez throughout his career, keeping the Phillies’ concern level very low.

Derek Hill, who left Saturday’s game with neck tightness, did not appear in Sunday’s game.
