Among the players with big league experience is Norris, who signed a Minor League deal with the Angels earlier this week and is expected to compete for a spot in the starting rotation. Norris, 31, split time with the Dodgers and Braves last season and has a 4.51 career ERA over eight Major League seasons. Banuelos, a former top prospect with the Yankees, and Lamb, who made 10 starts for the Reds in 2015, are also potential starters for the Angels.
Young, a speedy utility man who enjoyed a brief stint with the Yankees last season, and Robinson, who batted .173 in 65 games for the Angels in 2016, also give the organization some depth in the outfield.

Thaiss, the 21-year-old first baseman who was the Angels' first-round Draft pick in 2016, will get his first taste of big league camp and is the youngest invitee. He is ranked as the club's No. 1 prospect by MLB.com. Ward (No. 3) and Fletcher (No. 8) are two other notable prospects to keep an eye on.
Angels pitchers and catchers are set to report to camp on Feb. 14 and will participate in their first workout the following day. Position players are slated to report on Feb. 17, with the club's first full-squad workout scheduled for Feb. 18.
