ST. LOUIS, Mo., February 11, 2026 – The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that its newest original video feature “The Nest: Matthew Liberatore” will debut on cardinals.com and the Cardinals YouTube channel on February 12 at 5 PM CT.
The 20-minute video produced by Cardinals Productions staff showcases Cardinals starting pitcher Matthew Liberatore at his home in Phoenix, Arizona and follows him through his offseason training regime in preparation for the upcoming season. The feature also touches on the southpaw’s life off the field with appearances from his wife and parents.
“It was really cool having the Cardinals Productions crew come visit me in Phoenix to see where my offseason work actually happens,” said Liberatore. “Getting to share the routine and behind-the-scenes grind that goes into preparing for the season made the whole experience special.”
The original feature is the second in Cardinals Productions’ The Nest series, following its inaugural and Emmy-nominated episode with former Cardinals utilityman Brendan Donovan before the start of last season.
In addition to being able to watch the video online, St. Louis viewers can watch the episode over-the-air on:
- KTVI 2 - Sunday, February 15 and Sunday, March 15 at 10:30 PM
- Matrix Midwest - Sunday, February 22 at 6:30 PM
- KMOV 4 - Sunday, March 8 at 11:00 PM
