Cookie Monster celebrated National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on Tuesday at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field.
After spending time in the Marquee Sports Network’s booth with Jon Sciambi and Jim Deshaies, the iconic Sesame Street character stuck around to sing “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” during the seventh inning stretch of the Cubs’ 5-1 win over the Dodgers.
Cookie Monster, of course, had his only little twist on the song, saying “buy me some cookies and Cracker Jack,” which was even more fitting on his favorite holiday.
He became the latest in a long line of celebrities to sing during the seventh inning stretch at Wrigley Field. To be able to do so on a national holiday for cookies made the occasion even more special.
