Center fielder Franchy Cordero (.325) was 2-for-5 Sunday with three RBIs to help Double-A San Antonio score a 7-6 win over Frisco in San Antonio.
The Missions won in the bottom of the 11th when second baseman Nelson Ward drew a walk and stole second with one out and scored on a walk-off single by River Stevens.
But the biggest news of the day came from El Paso. Although he didn't play Sunday, right fielder Hunter Renfroe apparently suffered no serious injuries when he was hit on the wrist by a pitch Saturday night.
Cordero extended his hitting streak to nine straight games and Monday morning was named the Texas League Player of the Week. The left-handed hitter was 13-for-28 (.464) during the week, with three doubles, a triple, a home run, six RBIs and two runs scored. Cordero led the Texas League in hits for the week and was second in batting average, extra-base hits and total bases. He is 16-for-37 during his hitting streak.
Right fielder Nick Schulz (.284) was 2-for-4 with a RBI. Left fielder Luis Tejada (.244) was 2-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Ward (.231) was 1-for-3 with two walks, a stolen base and three runs scored.
Starting left-handed pitcher (7.40 ERA) allowed five runs on nine hits and four walks with a strikeout in 3 2/3 innings for the Missions, who improved to 22-22 in the second half of the Texas League season (44-70 overall).

Lefty Brad Wieck (1-0, 0.55) issued two walks with four strikeouts in two hitless/scoreless innings to get the win.
There were two moves in the system Sunday. Right-handed reliever Will Stillman was advanced from Class A Short-Season Tri-City to Class A Fort Wayne. Righty Angel Mejia was transferred from Fort Wayne to Tri-City.
