The D-backs avoided arbitration with four players on Friday, the team announced. Left-hander Patrick Corbin, right-hander Randall Delgado, infielder Chris Owings and catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann all agreed to one-year contracts for 2017. The team did not disclose the terms of the deals.
Arizona has two arbitration-eligible players remaining. However, they are the club's two biggest names on that front -- Shelby Miller, the return from last offseason's trade that sent Dansby Swanson to Atlanta, and Taijuan Walker, the return from the November trade that sent Jean Segura to Seattle.

Corbin struggled in 2016, going 5-13 with a career-worst 5.15 ERA in 36 games, 24 of them starts. He was taken out of the starting rotation in August and finished the season in the bullpen. The 27-year-old made $2,525,000 last year in his first year of arbitration eligibility.
Delgado made a team-high 79 appearances for the D-backs in relief last season, with a 4.44 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 75 innings. The 26-year-old will be entering his fifth season with the D-backs.
Owings had his best big league season to date in 2016, hitting .277/.315/.416 in 119 games with five home runs, 49 RBIs, 21 steals and a Major league-leading 11 triples. The 25-year-old set career highs in all those categories except home runs.
The 29-year-old Herrmann hit .284/.352/.493 with six home runs and 28 RBIs in 56 games in his first season in Arizona.
