GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The latest injured Dodger is second baseman Howie Kendrick, who was scratched 15 minutes before Thursday night's game -- a 5-5 tie vs. the Indians -- with left calf tightness.The club said Kendrick is day to day. "It's not very serious," said manager Dave Roberts. "I think we'd rather err on the side of caution. A calf, for a player like Howie, when he says it bothers him we'll give him a day or two. Missing a couple of days won't hurt him."
Kendrick just returned from a strained groin that kept him out of games for nearly a week.
