Dodgers' Robinson hits walk-off single for AFL win

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- In Wednesday's Arizona Fall League action, the Desert Dogs took the Saguaros, 3-2, with a decisive ninth inning hit.
Dodgers' No. 20 prospect Errol Robinson hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth that brought in Connor Marabell.

The Desert Dogs, who were 2-10 coming into the game, faced a 2-0 deficit leaving the first inning but came back with runs in the third and fourth innings to tie.
"It was exciting," Robinson said. "Getting back on a win streak here starting with this one and feeling good."
The 24-year-old shortstop went 1-for-3 on the afternoon. His game-clinching hit was his first hit since statring Fall League with a two-hit game on October 11.
"I was trying to get healthy," he said. "I had pulled my oblique the last week of the season in the regular year. I came back and rehabbed.
"I'm blessed enough to be able to come back and make it in on time," Robinson said. "I missed the first game ... But I'm feeling better every day and feeling good. Especially now."
Robinson has appeared in five Fall League games after showings in 117 games for the Tulsa Drillers in 2018, where he batted .247 with 50 RBIs. 
"It's a lot of tough competition," Robinson said.. "All of the pitchers can command the zone …Everybody's good. They're fast. It's just another level up. It's great stuff. It's great to be here and great to be recognized as one of the guys on the top."
