Dodgers embark on community service tour

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers are holding their 16th annual community service tour this week, with the Dodgers Love L.A. Community Tour events ranging from Justin Turner Day at City Hall to tributes for wildfire first responders and the Borderline bar shooting victims and families.
On Monday, manager Dave Roberts will be grand marshal of the 34th annual Kingdom Day Parade on Martin Luther King Day. Then the City Council will proclaim Tuesday to be Justin Turner Day for the third baseman's impact on the local community. Afterward, Turner will host an enlistment and re-enlistment ceremony at Dodger Stadium for all branches of the military.
On Wednesday, players will host 350 firefighters who battled last year's wildfires at Dodger Stadium, while new Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly will surprise customers at a local Smart & Final location.
On Thursday, Joc Pederson will take photos with fans and their dogs at the Blue's Pet Family Photo Day at the Sepulveda Basin Off-Leash Dog Park. Also on Thursday, Austin Barnes, Enrique Hernandez and Bank of America volunteers will surprise military members and their families traveling to/from deployment through Los Angeles International Airport's Bob Hope USO, delivering snacks and goodies.
On Friday, players will visit patients at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital. Afterward, players will visit with those affected by the Borderline tragedy at California Lutheran University.
On Saturday, the team's annual FanFest presented by Coca-Cola and San Manuel Casino will be held at Dodger Stadium.
