During interview, Dom has smooth scoop

Dom Smith definitely knows how to play it up for the cameras.

The Mets outfielder and first baseman showed off his smooth hands -- and multitasking talent -- by fielding a foul ball while doing a live FaceTime interview with ESPN during Thursday's game against the Nationals.

Sitting by the camera well along the third-base line, Smith scooped up the grounder and quickly held it up in front of his phone, which was perched against his glove at the end of the Mets' dugout for the interview.

Then he got to watch back the slo-mo replay of his own play, which was also captured by the broadcast cameras. He was predictably delighted.
