It's time to start counting the days until pitchers and catchers report.
On Monday, Major League Baseball released first workout dates for every club ahead of Spring Training, which begins late next month. Pitchers and catchers for the Cardinals, D-backs, Giants, Phillies and Reds are scheduled to begin working out on Feb. 18 -- the earliest start date for any club. Meanwhile, the Marlins' full squad will work out on Feb. 22, making them the first team to require all players in camp.
Here's a breakdown of each club's important dates this spring, and a key player to watch:
Angels
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 24
Spring Training opener: March 1 at Giants
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Cubs
Player to watch: In four seasons with Atlanta, Andrelton Simmons established himself as one of the best defenders in the sport. Now, he brings his wizardry to the West Coast, and the Angels hope they have their shortstop of the future.
Astros
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 3 at Phillies
Opening Day: April 4 at Yankees
Player to watch: Carlos Correa's rookie season was incredible by just about any metric. What can he do for an encore? The Astros youngster is looking to establish himself as one of the best shortstops in the game.

A's
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 21
Full squad: Feb. 26
Spring Training opener: March 3 at Angels
Opening Day: April 4 vs. White Sox
Player to watch: Sonny Gray has developed into one of the game's best young arms, and the A's have reportedly turned down several trade offers. Gray, a potential franchise cornerstone, has the chance to justify Oakland's faith in him with another Cy Young-caliber season.
Blue Jays
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 22
Full squad: Feb. 26
Spring Training opener: March 1 at Phillies
Opening Day: April 3 at Rays
Player to watch: Roberto Osuna burst onto the scene as a lock-down closer last season, but the 20-year-old's role is uncertain after Toronto acquired closer Drew Storen in the offseason. It's worth keeping an eye on Osuna this spring to see whether the Blue Jays have any long-term plans to stretch him into a starting role.
Braves
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 20
Full squad: Feb. 25
Spring Training opener: March 1 vs. Orioles
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Nationals
Player to watch: Ender Inciarte is the only player in the Shelby Miller deal who projects to make the Braves' roster on Opening Day this season. At 25, he's a nice piece in Atlanta's re-build, and it's worth watching whether he'll play center or left field.
Brewers
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 21

Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. UW-Milwaukee
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Giants
Player to watch: After a fantastic first couple of months in the big leagues, Taylor Jungmann faltered a bit in September. He'll be looking to bounce back and re-establish himself as a reliable arm toward the top of the Brewers' rotation.
Cardinals
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 18
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. Florida Atlantic University
Opening Day: April 3 vs. Pirates
Player to watch: Randal Grichuk had one of the best under-the-radar offensive seasons last year -- that is, until an elbow injury in mid-August. If he's healthy in 2016, he could be poised to establish himself as a middle-of-the-order threat for St. Louis for years to come.
Cubs
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 20
Full squad: Feb. 24
Spring Training opener: March 3 at Brewers
Opening Day: April 3 at Angels
Player to watch: Jason Heyward's tenure on the North Side begins. He's proven himself a very capable center fielder in the past, but it'll still be worth watching him as he transitions to an everyday role there.

D-backs
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 18
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 1 vs. University of Arizona
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Rockies
Player to watch: Zack Greinke's deal with the D-backs may have been the most surprising signing of the offseason, as Arizona swooped in late to ink the veteran right-hander. He's looking to continue to dominate the same division he's dominated for the past three seasons.
Dodgers
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 20
Full squad: Feb. 25
Spring Training opener: March 3 vs. White Sox
Opening Day: April 4 at Padres
Player to watch: Kenta Maeda -- the only right-hander in the Dodgers' rotation -- may have been the biggest enigma on the free-agent market this offseason. With Greinke's departure, the former Hiroshima Carp ace could play a pivotal role in whether the Dodgers can win their fourth straight NL West crown.
Giants
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 18
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. Angels
Opening Day: April 4 at Brewers
Player to watch: The Giants invested a whole lot of money in Johnny Cueto -- $130 million to be exact. When he's on, he's brilliant (see: World Series Game 2). But he struggled for the most part down the stretch in 2015, and will be looking to re-gain his Cy Young-caliber form.

Indians
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 1 vs. Reds
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Red Sox
Player to watch: There simply aren't many players in the sport more fun to watch than Francisco Lindor. He's one of the most complete young players in baseball, with a dazzling defensive game and the plate prowess to match it.
Mariners
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 20
Full squad: Feb. 25
Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. Padres
Opening Day: April 4 at Rangers
Player to watch: Seattle bought low on Leonys Martin this offseason, after a woeful 2015 campaign. But in the two seasons prior, Martin batted .268/.319/.374 while playing a very capable center field. Which version of Martin will the Mariners get?
Marlins
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 22
Spring Training opener: March 1 vs. University of Miami
Opening Day: April 5 vs. Tigers
Player to watch: Carter Capps established himself as one of the most dominant relievers in baseball last season before going down with an elbow injury in early August. Will he be able to return to the form that saw him post a 1.16 ERA and 0.81 WHIP in 30 outings last season?
Mets
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 26
Spring Training opener: March 3 at Nationals
Opening Day: April 3 at Royals
Player to watch: Michael Conforto will be stepping into a starting role in the Mets' outfield, and -- barring a free-agent splash -- New York will be relying heavily on his bat in 2016. A spot in the middle of the lineup could be in the cards for Conforto.

Nationals
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 20
Full squad: Feb. 25
Spring Training opener: March 2 at Rays
Opening Day: April 4 at Braves
Player to watch: Daniel Murphy turned into Babe Ruth last October, mashing homers in a playoff-record six consecutive games. If the Nats get anything close to his 2015 postseason production in '16, they'll have gotten a steal.
Orioles
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 24
Spring Training opener: March 1 at Braves
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Twins
Player to watch: The 2016 campaign is a critical one for Kevin Gausman -- so critical in fact, that he proclaimed it "huge" earlier this offseason. The right-hander turned 25 this month and is still awaiting his breakout season. His success figures to be pivotal for the Orioles' chances in an up-for-grabs AL East.
Padres
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 24
Spring Training opener: March 2 at Mariners
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Dodgers
Player to watch: The Padres got a look at right-hander Colin Rea late last season, and the results were mixed (2-2, 4.26 ERA). This season, Rea, the club's No. 4 prospect, has a chance to earn himself a spot in the starting rotation.
Phillies
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 18
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: Feb. 28 vs. University of Tampa
Opening Day: April 4 at Reds
Player to watch: Vincent Velasquez came over to Philadelphia in the Ken Giles trade, and he has a chance to earn a starting spot right away. The 23-year-old right-hander possesses a fastball in the mid-to-high 90s and posted a 4.37 ERA in 19 appearances for Houston last season.
Pirates
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 1 at Tigers
Opening Day: April 3 vs. Cardinals
Player to watch: John Jaso has proven himself to be a very good on-base threat, but he's played just two games at first base in his career. He'll have to learn fast, because that's the position the Pirates signed him to play -- and they don't appear to have any other spot for him.

Rangers
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 24
Spring Training opener: March 2 at Royals
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Mariners
Player to watch: Yu Darvish underwent Tommy John surgery last March, and there's a chance he won't be back in time for the start of the '16 campaign. But he'll most likely be throwing during Spring Training, and the sooner he returns, the sooner the Rangers will have one of the best 1-2 punches in baseball with Darvish and Cole Hamels.
Rays
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 21
Full squad: Feb. 26
Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. Nationals
Opening Day: April 3 vs. Blue Jays
Player to watch: Matt Moore's 2015 campaign was hard to watch, as he struggled mightily following a return from Tommy John surgery. With a fully healthy offseason under his belt, the 26-year-old southpaw will be looking to get back to his 17-win form of '13.
Reds
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 18
Full squa: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 1 at Indians
Opening Day: April 4 vs. Phillies
Player to watch: Raisel Iglesias' ERA wasn't great in his rookie season, but there are plenty of other reasons the Reds should be high on the right-hander entering camp this year. His 26.3 strikeout rate trailed only Noah Syndergaard among rookie starters with at least 50 innings pitched last season.
Red Sox
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 24
Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. Twins
Opening Day: April 4 at Indians
Player to watch: Who else? The Red Sox gave David Price the largest contract in Major League history for a starting pitcher. His presence figures to fill the void in a rotation that was in desperate need of a true ace in 2015.

Rockies
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19

Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. D-backs
Opening Day: April 4 at D-backs
Player to watch: Rockies top pitching prospectJon Gray made his much-anticipated debut last season, struggling a bit over nine starts. He spent the offseason adding a curveball to his arsenal and figures to be in contention for a rotation spot out of camp.
Royals
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. Rangers
Opening Day: April 3 vs. Mets
Player to watch: It appears as though Jarrod Dyson will be given the keys to a full-time right-field role in 2016. The speedy left-handed hitter has never recorded more than 300 at-bats in a season, but he's reached base at a respectable .320 clip over his six-year career.
Tigers
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: Feb. 28 vs. Florida Southern
Opening Day: April 5 at Marlins
Player to watch: Jordan Zimmermann received the first major contract of the offseason when he signed with Detroit in November. He'll be looking to revitalize a starting rotation that finished last in the AL in ERA in 2015 -- following a four-year stretch where it was one of the best in the game.
Twins
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 22
Full squad: Feb. 27
Spring Training opener: March 2 at Red Sox
Opening Day: April 4 at Orioles
Player to watch: Top prospectByron Buxton will be given every chance to win the starting center-field job for the Twins this season. He struggled a bit in his first taste of the big leagues, but seemingly has all the tools to become the next great outfielder in Minnesota.

White Sox
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 23
Spring Training opener: March 3 at Dodgers
Opening Day: April 4 at A's
Player to watch: Carlos Rodon is the guy to watch in Sox camp (although Todd Frazier figures to garner plenty of attention, too, as he joins the South Siders from Cincinnati). Rodon, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 Draft, showed flashes of brilliance last season. The White Sox hope he develops into a complement for Chris Sale atop the rotation.
Yankees
Pitchers and catchers: Feb. 19
Full squad: Feb. 25
Spring Training opener: March 2 vs. Tigers
Opening Day: April 3 vs. Astros
Player to watch: Which Starlin Castro did the Yankees trade for? Will they get the player who posted a dreadful .603 OPS in the first half of last season? Or did they get the three-time All-Star, who went on a tear in August and September? It's also worth monitoring Castro's continued transition to second base.
