Kris Bryant's third-inning homer in his Giants debut on Sunday not only sparked a lead-changing rally against the Astros, it made history.

Bryant, traded by the Cubs before Friday's Trade Deadline, was one of three former North Siders to go deep in the first game they played after being dealt.

Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo (on Friday) and Mets shortstop Javier Báez (Saturday) also introduced themselves to their new clubs with homers, making the trio the first in AL/NL Modern Era history to all go deep in their debuts with a new team after playing on the same club earlier that season, according to STATS.

Rizzo, dealt for Minor Leaguers Alexander Vizcaino and Kevin Alcántara, homered on Saturday as well on his way to becoming the first player in Yankees history to reach base eight times in his first two games with the club.

Báez was dealt to the Mets with pitcher Trevor Williams for outfield prospect Pete Crow-Armstrong.
