Francisco Lindor's strong start to the season has stirred some debate as to whether the Indians' shortstop is developing into an MVP Award-caliber player in the American League. A start in the All-Star Game would help cement his place as one of the game's bright young stars.
On Monday, the Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot was revealed, and Lindor will be looking for his second career ticket to the Midsummer Classic. Joining Lindor on the ballot for the Indians are first baseman Carlos Santana, second baseman Jason Kipnis, third baseman Jose Ramirez, designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion, catcher Yan Gomes, and outfielders Michael Brantley, Lonnie Chisenhall and Abraham Almonte.
