March 28th, 2017

MLB.com fantasy expert Fred Zinkie took questions from fans during a live Twitter chat (at @fantasy411) on Monday. Read through the best of the Q&A below. Questions and answers have been edited for clarity.
@tahamufti1: Could have a rookie season that resembles that of in 2016?
Fred Zinkie: I don't see that type of season coming. Renfroe doesn't have the benefit of Coors Field, and also has to improve his plate discipline.
@greggweiss: Do you expect to be the closer for the Angels?
Zinkie: My guess is that it will be . I have read many articles that point in the same direction. He is the Angels' reliever you want to own.

@tomSclark: Do you expect either or to have bounceback seasons?
Zinkie: I believe that d'Arnaud has the potential to help mixed-league teams. I'm less optimistic on Gomes.

@ricosedge7: Would you rather own or as a deep sleeper?
Zinkie: Definitely Bundy. He was once a top prospect and has had little opportunity to prove himself as a starter.
@amoralest1970: Should I draft or Nicholas Castellanos as a late-round pick?
Zinkie: Go with Catellanos. Hitting second in the lineup could significantly boost his value.
@kneedtoknows: What level of success do you predict for Dee Gordon this season?
Zinkie: I expect Gordon to hit roughly .285 with 55-60 steals and 85-90 runs. With the scarcity of steals, he is very valuable.

@genesdbacks: Should I pick up or ?
Zinkie: Go with Snell. Even though his control is poor, his strikeout total could make a big impact.
@elangel_747: Please rank Jim JohnsonGreg Holland and .
Zinkie: Johnson, Neris, Holland, Ottavino.
@johnisthename: Should I panic if continues to bat sixth in the lineup?
Zinkie: No panic. Lineups change throughout the season. But it keeps him in the second tier at shortstop.
@einstein2u: Can take the next step this season?
Zinkie: Yes, he could take the next step. But finding success against lefties is crucial for him to improve.

@zen4less: Please give me some advice for my first dynasty draft.
Zinkie: Try to win this year! Mostly draft the best players you can get, but lean towards youth within your position tiers.
@texmcpherson: Do you have any optimism for ?
Zinkie: I have enough optimism to draft him late in a 15-team league.
@BriFRiley: Does Robert Gsellman have any value in a mixed league?
Zinkie: Yes, I believe that he is a solid late-round pick in 12-team or 15-team leagues this year.
@jerorton: Should I pick up , , or ?
Zinkie: Go with Nola. His upside is very high.
@VincentElisar: Do you prefer or ?
Zinkie: Grichuk. While he is not yet a reliable asset, he has 30-homer potential.
@banoycocina: Should I pick up , , Joe Ross or in a 10-team league?
Zinkie: Go with Walker. Your league is shallow, which means that you should chase upside at the bottom of your roster.

@RealBH44: When do you expect to see and in the Majors?
Zinkie: I expect to see Hader this summer. Bellinger could come sooner or later, depending on the health of veteran players. They have a deep roster.
@adm_weirdo: Should I pick up Mitch Haniger or ?
Zinkie: Haniger. Conforto doesn't have a secure role. Haniger has some breakout potential.
@13_wy: Please rank , or .
Zinkie: Giles, Herrera, Kimbrel. All three are pretty close.
@TK3MPY_10: Is worth a roster spot?
Zinkie: Yes, he should be stashed in most leagues. He could be quite valuable by June.

@mikebloodworth: In a traditional 5x5 league, would you rather have or Haniger?
Zinkie: Buxton. He is not yet a safe asset, but he has the potential to be very valuable.
@TheReal_Ankur: How would you rank Danny Duffy, , ?
Zinkie: Duffy, Sanchez, Salazar.
@JCortess22: Can we assume Holland is the Rockies' closer?
Zinkie: Yes, we can assume that. Not sure he can keep the job all season. It's a tough place for pitch in a situation with little margin for error.
