Freeman wins NL Player of the Week Award
Braves slugger tallies 11 hits, homering twice and driving in seven

Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman earned National League Player of the Week honors after hitting .500 (11-for-22) with two home runs and seven RBIs in six games last week.
The highlight of Freeman's week came on Sept. 19 against the Mets. He went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBIs in a 7-3 win.
Freeman also went 2-for-4 in a 4-3 victory over the Mets on Wednesday to extend the Braves' win streak to five games. He then finished the week going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs in a 6-4 loss to the Marlins on Saturday.
