Giants announce fan cutout program for '20

July 7th, 2020

The seats at Oracle Park will not be empty when the 2020 Giants begin the 60-game regular season at home on July 28 against the San Diego Padres at 6:45 p.m. Although fans will not be permitted at Giants games this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they will have the opportunity to have a cutout image of themselves placed in a seat instead.

The Giants Fan Cutout Program will be made available to season-ticket members at no cost as one benefit for selecting to roll over their account credit to the 2021 season. The goal is to place their cutout in or as close to their actual season seat as possible. The program is open to all Giants fans at a cost of $99 at www.sfgiants.com/FanCutouts.

“We know this is going to be an unusual season without fans at the park so we thought how can we still provide our season-ticket members with the opportunity to be present at Oracle Park even when they are home watching the game,” said Mario Alioto, Giants executive vice president for Business Operations. “We are going to have some fun with this program so expect to see cameo cutouts from some of your favorite Giants alumni as well as other recognizable Giants fans.”

Giants celebrities and Forever Giants will be seated throughout the park and fans will have a choice, when purchasing their cutout, to select a seat in the same section or as close as possible to their favorite celebrity or Giants alumni – including Metallica, Carlos Santana, Tony Bennett, E-40, Joe Montana, George Kittle, Jimmy Garoppolo, Rob Schneider and other recognizable Giants fans as well as many Forever Giants.

All Giants Fan Cutouts will be authenticated as game used through the MLB Authentication Program. The cutouts are made of Coroplast, a weatherproof material, and are 18” W x 30” H.
