'Cazador' joins 'Wawindaji' among Players Weekend nicknames

PHOENIX -- A fielder's glove resting on one end of the bench in the Giants' dugout bore the name "Hunter" stitched into it.
The question was, "Which Hunter?" Moreover, which Hunter was experiencing a particularly satisfying or meaningful Players Weekend, which entered its second day Saturday?
It could be right fielder , who's sporting one of the most colorful nicknames in the Majors this weekend: "Wawindaji," which means "lion hunter" in Swahili.

Pence gave teammates the opportunity to select his nickname. With "Wawindaji," Giants left fielder made an inspired choice. But Parker insisted he didn't base his selection on its novelty.
"I wasn't trying to go for that," Parker said. "I don't think either of us were."
