ARLINGTON -- Friday's series opener between the Tigers and Rangers at Globe Life Park has been delayed by the threat of thunderstorms in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. First pitch is expected to take place at 9:45 p.m. CT.
The game was supposed to start at 7:05 p.m. CT; the delay was announced at 6:40 p.m. Even though it was not raining at the time, there were massive storms to the north and west.
