Tribe takes fans along for ride on Snapchat Day

March 12th, 2016

The Indians may have suffered a 6-1 loss to the Rockies on the field Friday, but their fans were treated to a behind-the-scenes experience off the field throughout the day.
As part of Major League Baseball's Snapchat Day, the Indians used the app to give fans an in-depth look at a typical day at Spring Training. The league-wide event featured MLB and all 30 clubs publishing Snapchat stories throughout the day to give fans an up-close view of Spring Training.
The club's Snapchat story began with a shot of catcher Yan Gomes helping load the team bus for a ride to Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, Ariz. It was followed by a team photo on the bus before featuring a number of photographs and videos from the Indians' pregame preparations.
Along with a shot of Rajai Davis warming up in the outfield, the feed also included videos of both Cody Anderson and Jeff Manship warming up in the bullpen. The team also treated fans to a video of Mike Napoli returning to the dugout after scoring the team's only run of the game.
