Bour needs Final Vote support to spread

Marlins slugger fifth in balloting, which ends today at 4 ET

ST. LOUIS -- The tabulations are pouring in, and the good news for is the interactive map shows the Marlins first baseman is clearing leading the state of Florida in the Esurance MLB All-Star Final Vote.
The bad news is that Bour is fifth overall, with Dodgers third baseman the front-runner to be the National League's #FinalVote winner with one day to go. Fans can vote at until 4 p.m. ET today and should tag their tweets with #VoteBour to show their support.

Cast your Esurance Final Vote for Bour
To make a late push, Bour needs a broader national strategy.
"I don't really have a strategy," Bour said on Wednesday before homering in the Marlins' 9-6 win over the Cardinals.
Still, Bour is thankful that Florida is voting for him.
"Got to love the state of Florida has my back," he said.

Bour's teammates also are keeping the faith.
"I'm pleading for people to vote for Bour, because we want that guy in the All-Star Game," third baseman said. "He's funny. He's really funny. He's sneaky funny."

Second baseman Dee Gordon, via Twitter, did a video urging fans to vote for Bour. The Marlins already have two on the NL roster for Tuesday's All-Star Game presented by Mastercard.

For Bour, he will be part of the All-Star event, either way. If he wins the Final Vote, he will be Miami's third player in the Midsummer Classic on Tuesday at Marlins Park.

Bour, however, has already accepted an invitation to compete in Monday's T-Mobile Home Run Derby, joining Stanton.
