Monday's Phillies-Mets game postponed

NEW YORK -- The Phillies-Mets game on Monday has been postponed due to cold and wet conditions at Citi Field. The teams will make up the game as part of a July 9 single-admission doubleheader.
Snow blanketed much of the tri-state area early Monday morning, forcing the Yankees to postpone their home opener in the Bronx. Although the Mets' game was scheduled for six hours later, temperatures were expected to hover in the high 30s and low 40s throughout the evening.
Fans with tickets for Monday's game may not use them for the July 9 doubleheader, which is scheduled to begins at 4:10 p.m. ET. Those tickets can, however, be exchanged via mail or in person for that or any other game (subject to availability), except for the Mets' June 8-10 Subway Series games against the Yankees.
Monday's scheduled starter, Matt Harvey, will push back to start on Tuesday against the Phillies at Citi Field. The Mets will then skip their fifth starter, , using on his regular rotation day on Wednesday, and on Thursday in Washington. Lugo will be available out of the bullpen.
