Miami Marlins announce updates to executive leadership team

MIAMI – The Miami Marlins today announced updates to the executive business leadership team, as appointed by Principal Owner Bruce Sherman and Marlins President of Business Caroline O’Connor: Tony Brasile – Senior Vice President of Facilities, Projects, and Corporate Services; Anthony Favata – Senior Vice President of Operations and Events; and Paige Strong – Vice President of Strategic Initiatives.

“Tony, Anthony, and Paige are exceptional leaders that have been instrumental in driving our business forward, highlighted by several major projects, high-profile events, and strategic initiatives that have defined our organization’s progress this year,” said Ms. O’Connor. “As we look ahead to an exciting period of growth, innovation, and milestone initiatives, their expanded roles will position us to execute at the highest level. I am confident that their vision and expertise will continue to strengthen our organization and advance the impact we bring to the South Florida community.”

Now in his sixth year with the Marlins, Mr. Brasile oversees all major projects for the organization, and leads the information technology, security, and facilities departments. He has played a significant role in the opening of the club’s new Academy in the Dominican Republic and all construction projects at loanDepot park and the Marlins Player Development Academy in Jupiter. Prior to joining the Marlins, he spent 11 years with the Brooklyn Nets, working his way up to Senior Director of Operations and Facilities. A native of Middlesex, N.J., Mr. Brasile is a graduate of Flagler College.

Entering his 13th season with the Marlins, Mr. Favata leads the organization’s event booking and operations, game operations, ballpark services, guest experience, and parking and transportation. Under his leadership, loanDepot park has recently hosted marquee events, such as the Savannah Bananas, Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Tour, and Miami Invitational, and is set to host the NHL Winter Classic and World Baseball Classic in 2026. In addition, he serves as a liaison between loanDepot park and local police and fire-rescue agencies, while managing the day-to-day relationships and operations of third-party concessions, housekeeping, event security, and retail partners. A native of Davie, Fla., he earned his undergraduate degree in Sports Management from the University of Florida. Mr. Favata also holds a Certified Venue Professional (CVP) designation from the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM).

Ms. Strong joined the Marlins in 2024 as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives. In this role, she spearheads long-term strategic planning, driving innovative programs that advance the organization’s vision for growth. In 2025, the Marlins saw growth in significant business lines, inclusive of attendance, viewership and sponsorship. Named to Sports Business Journal’s New Voices Under 30 in 2025, Ms. Strong has been recognized for her forward-thinking impact on the sports industry. A native of Toronto, ON, Ms. Strong earned an undergraduate degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University in London, ON, and holds her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
