Trout gives thoughts on his 1st World Baseball Classic

Mike Trout, who will captain Team USA in the 2023 World Baseball Classic, is meeting with the media right now in anticipation of the upcoming tournament, which will get underway in March.
The Angels All-Star, who elected not to compete in WBC 2017 for personal reasons, hopes to lead the defending champs to back-to-back titles.
Team USA will compete in Pool C with Colombia, Mexico and Great Britain at Chase Field in Phoenix, and its first game will be against Great Britain on Saturday, March 11, at 7 p.m. MST.
