LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- The Nationals unveiled details for their annual Winterfest, which will be held this weekend at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
More than 20 Nationals players and team personnel are expected to attend, including new manager Dave Martinez, who will be meeting with many of his players in person for the first time. The team also will unveil a new alternate uniform for the 2018 season.
This year's WinterFest will introduce a few new activities, including a virtual reality Home Run Derby experience, the world's largest baseball as recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records and MLB exhibits like Women in Baseball, Latin American Influence on the Game and History of the Negro Leagues.
Some of the fan favorites will return, including holiday-themed activities, exclusive interviews and game shows on the main stage, batting cages, a virtual pitching game and photo opportunities with players, coaches and team mascots.

Season ticket holders will have exclusive access to the event Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 11.30 a.m. ET before the event opens to the general public from 11.30 to 4 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to benefit Washington Informer Charities and the D.C. Housing Authority and for a chance to meet a Nationals player.
